2010 Combat
Hapkido Seminar:
We will be hosting the 2010 Combat Hapkido Seminar with
Grand Master John Pellegrini from Friday, October 29th
through Sunday, October 31st . This will be Grand
Master Pellegrini's only seminar held in South Florida this
year, so be sure to register early. This seminar always
fills up very fast and space will be limited.
Come and train with a true martial arts pioneer and the
founder of the style we train in. This seminar is open to
ages 14 years and older, previous experience is not
required. GMP will be covering a variety of subjects at this
year’s seminar, including short stick defense, knife
defense, and hand-gun defense, as well as transitional
flowing and balance disruption.
We look forward to seeing you here for this wonderful annual
event. Flyers and additional information are available here
at the school. To get the most bang for your training buck
be sure to register before the October 17th early
registration deadline!
Your Peak
Performance competition team
did an awesome job in Orlando at the 2010 USAT Jr. Olympics.
A big congratulations to Aiden Baldwin, Sebastian Geist, and
Steve Rosenberg
for winning Gold Medals in their divisions. They all
fought incredibly and deserved their prizes. Other team
members won medals and had some great fights. The team
trained very hard all year and they proved that Peak is
number one! Next year's Jr. Olympics will be in San
Jose, California.
We are very
excited that in January of 2009, Self Defense
America of Coral Springs became the newest location for
Peak Performance. Peak Performance is an elite
training system created by Olympic Medalist, Juan Moreno.
Juan Moreno is a coach for the USA Olympic Tae Kwon Do team
and he operates a training facility in Miami as well.
Coach Moreno has several Peak Performance facilities
throughout the country, and thanks to his relationship with
our own Master Beneby, we will enjoy the benefits of the
Peak Performance program. This will propel our
competition team to an Olympic training level. Thank
you Coach Moreno, Master Beneby, Master Baldwin, and Master
Doty for making this possible.
